Binance has officially launched Binance Lite Loan, a simplified crypto lending product designed for users who want quick access to liquidity without worrying about liquidation during the first 30 days. The new service enables eligible users to borrow up to 1,000 USDT by using Bitcoin (BTC) as collateral while still earning rewards on the pledged BTC.
The feature is aimed at making crypto-backed borrowing easier for everyday users by removing the need to constantly monitor loan-to-value (LTV) ratios during the initial loan period.
What Is Binance Lite Loan?
Binance Lite Loan is a new borrowing solution that allows eligible master-account users to receive USDT instantly after locking Bitcoin as collateral.
Key Features
- Borrow up to 1,000 USDT
- Fixed 30-day loan period
- No liquidation during the initial 30 days
- Instant access to borrowed funds
- Bitcoin collateral continues earning rewards through Binance Simple Earn
- Early or partial repayment available without extra fees
According to Binance, users can spend the borrowed USDT both inside and outside the Binance ecosystem.
Promotional Fee for Early Users
Instead of charging daily interest, Binance deducts a one-time service fee when the loan is issued.
The platform is offering a promotional fee of 0.5% for loans created between August 4 and September 3, 2026. After the promotional period ends, the standard service fee will return to 1%.
This fixed-fee structure makes the borrowing cost predictable for users.
Bitcoin Collateral Keeps Generating Rewards
One of the biggest advantages of Binance Lite Loan is that users don’t lose the earning potential of their Bitcoin.
The pledged BTC is automatically placed into Binance Simple Earn, allowing it to continue generating passive rewards throughout the loan period.
However, users cannot withdraw, transfer, or use the locked Bitcoin until the entire loan has been repaid.
No Liquidation During the First 30 Days
Unlike traditional crypto-backed loans, Binance Lite Loan does not trigger liquidation during the initial 30-day loan term, even if Bitcoin experiences significant price volatility.
This gives borrowers greater flexibility and reduces the stress of constantly monitoring market movements.
What Happens After the Loan Expires?
If the loan is not repaid by the end of the 30-day term, Binance begins applying penalty charges.
Overdue Loan Rules
- Daily penalty interest calculated at a 36% annual simple rate
- Margin call notification when the Loan-to-Value (LTV) reaches 85%
- Liquidation may begin when LTV reaches 91%
- Liquidation can also occur if the loan remains unpaid for 30 days after maturity
Currently, Binance charges 0% liquidation fees, although the exchange says it may restore its standard 2% liquidation fee in the future.
Binance Expands Its Crypto Lending Services
The launch of Binance Lite Loan further strengthens Binance’s growing crypto lending ecosystem.
The exchange already offers:
- Flexible Loans
- Fixed-Rate Loans
- VIP Loans
- Institutional Lending Solutions
The Lite Loan product is specifically designed for smaller borrowers who want a simple and transparent borrowing experience.
Coinbase Also Offers Bitcoin-Backed Loans
Binance isn’t the only exchange expanding crypto-backed lending.
Coinbase also provides Bitcoin-backed USDC loans for eligible customers, with borrowing limits reaching millions of USDC depending on the collateral provided. The growing competition among major exchanges highlights increasing demand for crypto-backed financing without requiring users to sell their digital assets.
